Mandat
La Réunion de 2014 des Hautes Parties Contractantes de la CCAC a convenu d’un nouveau mandat sur les SALA qui stipule que:
“La Réunion a décidé de convoquer, sous la responsabilité générale du Président, une réunion informelle d’experts de cinq jours lors de la semaine du 13 au 17 avril 2015 afin de discuter des questions liées aux technologies émergentes dans le domaine des systèmes d’armes létaux autonomes, dans le cadre des buts et objectifs de la Convention. Le Président de la réunion d’experts soumettra à la Réunion de 2015 des Hautes Parties Contractantes de la CCAC un rapport sous sa responsabilité personnelle reflétant objectivement les discussions qui ont été tenues,” (CCW/MSP/2014/9, paragraphe 36)
Président
L’Ambassadeur Michael Biontino (Allemagne) a présidé la Réunion d’Experts de 2015 sur les SALA.
